How should I respond?

I wasn’t sure where to post this but…

Since Cardinal Peter Turkson is in the spotlight lately, I brought up his ‘one world bank’ view and also a part of an article that says ‘Turkson has positioned himself as an ecumenical figure, making reference to his Methodist mother and Muslim uncle. He will continue the Catholic dialogue with other Christian dominations…’

Suddenly the person brought up ‘Read Revelation, one world government, one world financial system and one world religion. The anti Christ!’

How should I respond to it?

How should I respond to it?

Tell them that if they are a True believer in Christ they will end speculation and end times discussion because Jesus himself told us not to. He didn’t even know the hour, nor do the angels and saints. We silly dirt created humans will definitely not see it coming so live each day as the last.

Plus I remember seeing somewhere that our eyes will be closed to the anti-christ when he does come to power. But I may be wrong or confused. that happens quite a bit.

How should I respond to it?

Ask him/her where the Bible says anything about a “one world government”. On another Catholic forum I belong to, a non-Catholic, who says he is as dispensationalist as you can get, recently admitted there is no such passage.
