How soon should a person go to confession for grave sins a person didn't remember to confess from their last confession?

Whenever its convenient or as soon as possible? Is there any rules or protocols for this.

Also is it alright for the person able to receive Holy Communion frequently? I would say so since he received absolution for all previous sins.

Just at your next regular Confession. If you go to confession monthly, and after you confess recall something that you forgot, just wait until next month.
