How specific in confession

Hi all, I have fallen back into sin by committing various sexual sins (masturbation and pornography) and I am planning on going to confession on Saturday. My question is that do I have to say what kind of Pornography I watched (straight/gay) or would be saying i viewed pornography x times be enough. I also have a strange sexual fettish that I acted on while commiting these sins. Do I have to confess this too or would just saying I masturbated and watched porn be enough? Please pray for me as I am very nervous about this. It is very overwhelming and I would be so nervous to confess my fetish if I had to.

Generally what is needed for kind is what would change the species of a sin, meaning if there was sacrilege or another person involved. Also for the commandments, generally speaking, the sixth covers acts and the ninth covers thoughts. The catechism mentions masturbation in the sixth commandment and lustful looking in the ninth commandment.

Sixth:
CCC 2352 By *masturbation *is to be understood the deliberate stimulation of the genital organs in order to derive sexual pleasure.

Ninth:
CCC 2528 “Everyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (*Mt *5:28).
CCC 2529 The ninth commandment warns against lust or carnal concupiscence.

I think it would be best if you just asked the priest in confession. That way, he can give you an answer that you can use for future reference, should you ever commit the sin again (and hopefully you won’t). Don’t be afraid to ask too. The priest isn’t there to condemn you. Also, if it helps you to feel more comfortable, you can go behind the screen.
 
I also looked at pictures of a fetish of mine too. What should I say about this or would that fall under looking at pornography?
 
I would pray real hard asking the Holy Spirit for guidance before going into the confessional. Having said that I’m thinking I would confess to impure thoughts, impure actions with myself, and viewing impure images and ask your confessor how much more specific he would like me to be.

I’ll be praying for you at Mass through the week and also during Adoration on Friday.

Thanks you all. Please pray that these three days go by fast for me and that the Spirit leads me to saying the right thing! I will just confess masturbation and pornography of the same gender and putting myself in an occasion of sin for acting on the fetish and ask my confessor if that is specific enough. God bless!
