Do you think God will’s you to live in a certain town at a certain time, marry a certain person, work in a particular industry,
Jarrod,I surely hope not. If thats the case, its God specific will that people are born into poverty or enviroments which stack the deck against people from the begining.
God’s will is that we be filled with charity and that we love others as he loves us. Other than that … who knows.

You talk trash, and it’s irresponsible. God does not wish for people to live in poverty, people are born into poverty based on the circumstances such as the country they live in.Jarrod,
We know some things about God, most important here:
What does God want for us? For us to be happy with Him in heaven – in other words whatever comes our way is for the good of our eternal souls.
- He is all knowing and
- He is all loving.
For us living here in time our situations may seem great. Or they may seem terrible, but that doesn’t matter. Only God has the wisdom to see what is really best for each individual’s soul.
For some it may mean they have to experience growing up in luxury. For others extreme poverty. If it weren’t for the best (remember He’s concerned with our eternal souls more than us having a full belly) than He would not allow it.
Seen from that perspective then being born in poverty is actually having the deck stacked in your favour.
My recent source for this thinking is a little book I’ve bought for myself and friends and family:
Trustful Surrender to Divine Providence.
