How Strict is Seminary Life?

There are going to be tremendous differences in style and discipline between different seminaries and, particularly, between diocesan and religious order seminaries.

This is true. I went to a seminary run by Benedictines, (but it was mostly diocesan seminarians who went there), and on the monastery grounds. It had a very different flavor than other seminaries (at least, that’s what I was told. I never attended a different one to find out).
