…that you’re going to heaven? Just curious!
…good answer!God knows my heart and it’s important to me, so since He wants me there and I want to go there and He says He’ll help me get there, I think it will happen; He is merciful.
Yup, what she said.not at all, that would be the sin of presumption
It’s kind of tricky, some answers seem like the sin of presumption, while the other answers seem like the sin of despair! Maybe this question was ill-conceived!?not at all, that would be the sin of presumption
Let’s just chalk it up to a learning experience in how to phrase thingsIt’s kind of tricky, some answers seem like the sin of presumption, while the other answers seem like the sin of despair! Maybe this question was ill-conceived!?![]()
Catholic Catechism:not at all, that would be the sin of presumption
2092 There are two kinds of presumption. Either man presumes upon his own capacities,
or he presumes upon God’s almighty power or his mercy(hoping to be able to save himself without help from on high),
(hoping to obtain hisforgiveness without conversion and glory without merit).
agreed here. We have to choose the path we want. If we choose heaven and except it with all our hearts, we might end up there. If we choose hell, most likely we will end up there. We can’t just say yeah I am going to heaven or yeah I am going to hellCan’t presume anything…
