How to be a Catholic from Protestant teachings

I pray it will be this easy! I would hate to wait until next Easter to have Holy Communion…what if I die before then?

The way I’ve heard it said, God knows what you would have done if you’d lived and takes that into account. And as the other poster mentioned, God isn’t constrained by sacraments. He made the sacraments for us, not for Him.

But I do know what you mean- I was SO relieved when I was finally baptized into the Church, Confirmed and had received my first Eucharist. I literally had been afraid I would die before that of some freak accident and I consider this one of my Blessings. When I say my prayers of gratitude, I mention how grateful I am to be baptized and confirmed.
