How to be sure to respect the rules of forum on some topics?

I have a general question and I would like to get a true catholic answer without being too much prudish or too much explicit : the good moderation.

When the topic is concerning the marital act, the sexual life within the marriage, the medicine and the catholic Faith, The theology of the body, the modesty, the immodesty, how must we interpret the rules of the forum " free of crude or sexually-explicit language " in the catholic way?

For senior members, do you know the case law (jurisprudence) of the moderators? Is there a black list with the words to avoid?

Under which conditions moderators stop or do not give access, or delete to a thread???

Since my interventions on this forum, I have been seeing two deleted threads? I is not going against the decision, but I want to understand the Catholic jurisprudence of this forum.

In the facts, on these topics what are the “crude or sexually-explicit languages”? is there a list of words to avoid. Because on those topics, it is not easy.

Anatomical words coming from the medical sciences are okay or not okay? The latin words from the catholic theology are okay or not okay? Commun terms, not slang, are okay or not?

Too much image it is so difficult and often the misunderstanding on the topics, on the definition and the meaning of the concept, is. Relativism is here and around us.

Thus, decription with scientific words is okay or not?
 
Depending on the forum, scientific expressions are probably ok.

Latin Church expressions would always be ok.

Even slang is ok, provided “bad language” is never used.

Methinks your difficulty springs from the fact that you are from a non-English speaking country. I know some French, and the rules of etiquette seem to be the same in both languages.

Depends how you use them!

If you are asking about serious matters concerning human biology and morality, that is ok!

If you are using scientific terms just for shock value, then it’s not.

Some of it may also be whether someone reported they were offended, and if the thread just plain went too far down the wrong line. Sometimes things are beaten to death.

Sex and sexuality are tough, especially as some Catholics have a very tough time with it within the confines of church teachings, and are looking for what is and is not allowed. There is no one specific guide and even then, there are different interpretations of what is and is not allowed. Case in point - the thread on sex with a pregnant wife got into splitting hairs on “oral sex” vs “oral stimulation”.

Live and learn, but don’t fear in asking questions. We are all here to learn.
