If we play our cards right, EWTN will re-run the series. I hope so, as I’ve loved the stuff that Jeff Cavins has already done and I hear nothing but good from his Great Adventure Series!!! I know Tim Gray does GA with Jeff and Tim is absolutely incredible. You’ll find three of his Bible Studies series (John, Mark, Exodus) at EWTN’s audio library.
I can personally attest to the goodnes of Jeff Cavins material. I have the priviledge of attending his bible studies in person. We are presently doing a study of Psalms.

What!!! I’d love to do a Cavins study of the Psalms!!!

We are though 3 sessions so far. It has been very enlighting. The recorded version was done by Tim Gray.
Does your church have any extra sets that its willing to sell at a discount?!?!?

BTW, I’ll say it again. Tim Gray is awesome. I’d love to see what he can do to unpack the Psalms. That’s what I’m studying for my Lenten Devotion, using the Navarre Study Bible.

NW,

I think it was you who turned me onto Tim Gray. We were talking about a thread and you mentioned Tim Gray in a PM a couple years ago, and I am very grateful for that.

I ended up getting his Mission of the Messiah: On the Gospel of Luke and it turned out to be one of the single best books about the bible I have ever read.

Wow–what an eye opening book that is! What a faith-expanding book that is! I can’t recommend that book enough!

Thanks, man. 👍 Keep up the good work.

Wow! I’m impressed that someone even listens to me!!!

Thanks!

And for a heads up, in the wonderful new Bible Study Series, “Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture”, Tim Gray is one of the authors that they’ve selected to write one of the books - I think the Gospel of John. I just finished the two that they have out - Gospel of Mark, by Mary Shealy, and the Pastoral Letters (Timothy I & II and Titus) by George Montague. I can’t wait to get the rest of them when they are finally published!!!
