Even if you intellectually can see the truth of the Catholic faith how do you make it the force in your life?
I think somehow I mean like a second conversion.

What do you suggest?

It’s like marriage - you find things you can do that are out of the ordinary and extra meaningful for you on an emotional level. Sometimes it takes trial and error to find just the right thing to get you out of your rut.

Try something that you don’t already do out of the following:

daily/weekday Mass, Adoration, LOTH (or at least Morning and Evening Prayer) aspiratory prayer such as the Jesus Prayer, read the Bible or other inspiring spiritual works, take up a new devotion like a chaplet or novena to your favourite saint or something (assuming you already pray the Rosary).

regular prayer, fasting and almsgiving. these are and always have been the answer to this question.

I suggest going before the Blessed Sacrament
and pouring out your heart
tell Our Blessed Lord exactly what you think and feel, and ask Him to change your life.
Frequent the Sacraments of Confession and the Eucharist in the Mass. Stay faithful in your prayer life and wait for the Lord to act.
But most of all PRAY!

May God bless you on your road,

I just got out of my rut about three days ago! I found my solace in the Word of God. Read it, it’ll surprise you what you find with just randomly opening it and asking the Spirit to guide you.

There are several things that I would suggest. Many had a second conversion experience that became Secular Franciscans in our local Fraternity. There are many other religious orders that take lay people. Finding a charism that fits your spirituality can be very helpful. A spiritual director might help you with this. Fr. Corapi suggests a simple prayer, " Lord I believe, help my unbelief."

Good luck
