I went to church today for the first time in about 20 years (apart from weddings, funerals etc). I’ve had one of those life changing experiences recently which has made me turn to god, no one else can help me.
I was brought up a catholic, went to catholic school, then I left school and haven’t really worried about religion since. Mass today was very inspiring and I would like to go again. I didn’t have communion because I haven’t confessed for a long time. My question is how do I go about confessing after all this time? Do I need to list everything I have done over the last 20 years or can I be more general?
