As for the last paragraph, I think it is obvious that Orthodox bishops have no more authority over Catholics than Catholic bishops have over Orthodox. The part after your first statement is untrue. No one bishop of the Orthodox Church can define doctrine, but the bishops together do.

Bishops do so with the whole of the Church not on their own.
Sorry I said the Pope was the first protestant. It was partly tounge in cheak.
