Let us say you have a vision of a terrible chastisement that is to come, and, you are able to interact in this vision as if it is real, and as you interact, you see, let us say, something terrible that is happen, and you wish it to stop, and suddenly it stops.

Or, taking the same vague example, let us say you see something you don’t like, so you make the vision stop, erase the part you don’t like (so to speak), and watch that part again except now it is without the part you don’t like - or you imagine new parts to the vision that you like and rewatch it again.

Or, you receive a true vision, but you change its contents, either intentionally or accidentally, to such a gravity that either the original contents or the meaning of the vision is completely changed.

These would be three examples of a false vision. The first is less noticeable because the person is lost in the wonder of the vision, the second is a bit more noticeable because the person notices he has control in the vision, and the third is even more noticeable because the visionary has changed the vision after receiving it, either in his mind or on the paper he wrote it down on. But even still, such false visions can still escape the reason of men and so they believe they have received true visions from God.

that’s interesting… would you say that’s because in real visions, it’s God who has control, not us?

what is your question?🍿

what you describe sounds more in need of psychological, not spiritual, counseling.
