Apologetics is a distinct apostolate/ministry that requires a bit of training, much prayer, and a lot of patience. It can be hard to answer/refute the same old anti-Catholic misinformation again and again. It’s easy to become frustrated and annoyed. But, each person comes with his own set of beliefs/preconceptions/life experiences and must be treated as an individual and not another person who doesn’t seem to “get it”. The following article is very good. I recommend all my fellow Catholics who wish to be effective as apologists read it carefully and prayerfully (that includes me!):

Be a Catholic Apologists without Apology by Carl Olson

May God bless us all. 🙂
