How to establish a perpetual adoration chapel

Hi everyone!
I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I figured someone could re-direct me if I’m off.
I was wondering how a person/persons goes about opening a chapel for perpetual adoration. A Planned Parenthood recently opened in my city, and I thought: “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was an adoration chapel close by where people could pray, especially for the conversion of PP?” I’ve heard of people establishing chapels around PP’s before, but I’ve never heard of how they did it. I’m assuming the Bishop would have to be involved, but I would think that there would be some others I would have to deal with first.
Has anyone ever done this before? (I’m thinking especially of groups like the Knights of Columbus- it seems like a project that might be up their alley)

Yes, the bishop would have to give his permission. Is there a church near there? Your own or another parish? My first step would be to talk to the pastor of that church. They may already have adoration times set up that you could build from. In order to have a chapel, you must have people committed to beign with our Lord during all the times that the blessed sacrament is exposed. Best to have 2 or more in every hour. Our chapel has an overall coordinator plus a ‘captain’ for every day to ensure there are always 2people scheduled. We work closely with the pastor.

We have a partial (not perpetual) Adoration chapel at our parish. There were simply not enough participants at our small town parish to go 24/7. We currently go from Monday morning to Friday morning. What was needed to begin this partial but substanial beginning?
A supportive priest (God bless him!)
Leaders willing to head up schedules for specific days and times.
A physical space that can be accessed during the appointed hours that is usable by everyone, including quite a few elderly who depend on canes, walkers, etc. to get around.

We took all these things into consideration and have begun this venture. We hope in the future to eventually reach perpetual status.
