How to excercise and grow the virtue of charity

Are there any prayers that grow love especially for god to wipe out all desires to sin?
 
Saint Francis of Assisi:

Great God full of Glory and Thou, my Lord Jesus Christ! I entreat you to enlighten me as to dispel the darkness of my mind, to give me a pure faith, a firm hope and an ardent charity.

Let me have perfect knowledge of Thee, O God! So that I may in all things be guided by Thy Light and act in conformity with Thy will.

A very good prayer. Where did you get it ? I really like it thanks.
 
  1. Love your family–follow I Corinthians 13: 1-8, Love and inherit eternal life–that is what Jesus says before He tells the parable of the Good Samaritan
  2. Lectio divina–slowly read the psalms–do about four every day.
  3. Spiritual read–read books about the saints, theology and things that interest you
  4. Love your family
  5. Regular Mass–daily if it fits in your life without causing tension
  6. Love your family
