How to get a Mass said for someone?

I’ve contacted the parish office, but I’ve received no return call. How do I get a Mass said for someone? Who do I tell? Who do I pay?

Its called the St. Michael the Archangel Mass Program and they reach out to pro-life
priests in the mission fields. They request Holy Masses be celebrated for all occasions.
(you may have Masses said to end abortion in our world, for the repose of someone’s soul who has passed on, the anniversary of someone’s birth, the anniversay of their death, your own anniversaries, for weddings, family members, etc)…I am sure they will tell you all you
need to know when you contact them.) I would just say something like this in my email:
Could you send me information on the St. Michael Archangel Mass Program please? Thank You.

(I’d probably even include St. Michael Mass Program on the subject line.) It would be that
simple!

Apparently HLI receives more requests for Masses than they can celebrate by their priests on staff so they sent stipends and intentions to priests and bishops in other countries. It says that they make a tremendous difference to the poor countries for the priests who depend on Mass stipends just to survive.

They are tax deductible too and they say its a beautiful way to support priests that are
active in the pro-life apostolate around the world.

Fr. Thomas Euteneuer ends with saying that our Lord will bless you abundantly for your
generosity and sacrifice.

In our area, one goes to the parish office in person and says, “I would like a Mass card.” The secretary will tell you what the offering is and collect your money, ask whether it’s for a living or deceased person, get the name, and possibly set a date. Then she’ll give you a pretty card specifying the particulars which you can send to the person or family.

There are also some missionary websites you can go to. They will offer a Mass for a stipend, usually $5-$10 for a single individual Mass and more for a Triduum (3 Masses) or a Novena (9 Masses) . The money is used to support that particular missionary group’s mission and priests. Some have a nice choice of cards that can be sent to the person or to the family of that person if he/she is deceased. Here’s a few:

The Association of the Miraculous Medal will add a person to the many Masses and prayers that they say, but I don’t think they do individual Masses. However, they have some very nice cards to choose from and various types (i.e. Healing, Special Occasions, Memorial).
