How does one join RCIA? How much does it cost? When does one need to sign up?
Welcome Home! Let us know how things are going and if we can answer any questions not covered in class.I guess I’ll call the parish offices. The bulletin says something about this. Thanks for the replies!![]()
At your earliest convenience. You wouldn’t want to find out right before it starts that you’d have a conflicting time commitment. When should I call? Just before August/September, or ASAP?
I’d personally call now and see what they say, especially when classes start, and to make an appointment with the parish priest and maybe the RCIA instructor. When should I call? Just before August/September, or ASAP?
Neat, I didn’t know about that video series. I think Fr. Barron’s Catholicism may also work for catechesis. My wife just finished RCIA about 2 months ago…they had a video series called SYMBOLON…explains the Catholic faith in detail…I believe it’s on EWTN now…brilliant series…every parish should have it for their RCIA …my wife was totally blown away about how much it taught about Catholicism.
ASAP. If things work out, your parish will have a year-round catechumenate and you could get started right away. When should I call? Just before August/September, or ASAP?
Call now – some parishes will be have you do “Inquiry” BEFORE RCIA starts in the Fall. We met with the RCIA director once a week from late July into September before the classes started in late September. When should I call? Just before August/September, or ASAP?
