I might be getting a job soon so that might help with my addiction
One of my friends a guy wants to work there with me
The girl works there too however
But I can’t just tell my friend I suddenly can’t work there
Plus if the job helps me avoid sin then it doesn’t really matter if occassionally my heart aches because I can offer that up
But I can’t offer up habitual sins

Even screw tape letters says that those who live short lives are lucky they don’t risk the temptations of old age

I will try to ask for a counselor I just hope this doesn’t back fire as I expect

You are better off without some friendships, for their sake as well as yours. Even if they seem virtuous at the time, it is not easy to keep things that way. Distance is your best bet. Tell you what, read Introduction to a devout life - Francis de Sales cover to cover and practice the meditations therein and if after that you still think being friends with her is a good idea, I mean honestly, for both of you, then go ahead. It has some great advice in there on which friendships to pursue and which not to and why. Keep God at the centre of your life and make doing His will your only desire. Your body is a temple of the Holy spirit and so is hers. God bless you.
