How to know if a song is satanic?

I thought older Marilyn Manson was treading the line into that territory. Maybe not in some of his songs but in imagery.

Your answer is that you made a claim for which you have no proof. This is not a thread about freemasonry.

Some things are kept secrete, your not going to find people who are demons coming out and saying they are so just as a fyi Lucifer keeps things secrete to deceive people.

As the Church teaches, demons are angels, not people. Human beings are people.

Being no objective evidence, would not be a Grave Sin to defame and stigmatize heavy metal artists on churchs, tv, and the internet?

Is not that also a violation of freedom of expression?

The only band on the list I’ve heard of is One Direction. I don’t buy their music so don’t know whether their being listed is credible or not. The rest, I’m just going on what the author of the list says.

I’m into Classic Rock myself.

I like Van Halen’s “Runnin’ With the Devil” but I’m not satanic. It’s just good to jam to and rock out when I’m driving.

That’s your opinion,@John121. Too bad you weren’t around when Tipper was having all those warning labels placed on CDs she didn’t feel were appropriate for America’s youth. You two would’ve gotten along famously.

And the record burnings, you cannot forget those.

At my youth group, we would bring the outer sleeves of our “satanic” albums like KISS or Led Zepplin but the album inside would be some dumb “Imperials” CCM record.

I remember at youth group, we had a “hangout” place with a stereo. We were not allowed to listen to the good Christian music, only the sappy happy stuff. The way we got around that was we actually broke open an “Imperials” 8 track tape and threw that tape away. We opened a Resurrection Band 8 track and put the Rez Band tape inside the Imperials case.
