The title is incorrect; the actual title of the article is “How to Love Someone Who Is Hard to Love.” Big difference.

Sometimes it’s hard to love people who don’t get quotes right (but then again G K Chesterton was notorious for this and I love him anyway).

Sometimes it’s hard to love people who notice when other people don’t get quotes right and say so (although sometimes you want to say, “Yes! Thank goodness somebody else caught it”)

Sometimes it’s hard to love people, period. I would be a saint if it weren’t for people making me angry, bitter, jealous, selfish, snarky, lazy, greedy. . .oh wait, it’s not really those other people though, is it?

Sometimes/most times I’m the person who is hard to love!!

And thank you OP for that article!

The reason why I commented was that I opened the thread based on the thread title, because that’s me – there are crossed wires in my brain somewhere, and the emotional component of love just isn’t there for me. And that might be what makes me somewhat hard to love sometimes.
