An acquaintance’s mother is drawn to a “potential” saint of the church-
Blessed Andrea Carlo Ferrari, from Milan.
It appears that the person was drawn to him as she visited, the Cathedral in Milan two years ago.

Ferrari was recognised by the people of Milan for the holiness of his life.
· Pope John XXIII opened his cause for canonization on 10 February 1963.
· Pope Paul VI proclaimed him to be Venerable on 1 February 1975 in recognition of his life of heroic virtue.
· Pope John Paul II beatified him on 10 May 1987 and his cause of canonization still continues pending a second miracle attributed to his intercession.

Over the past two years, acquaintance’s mother has thought about him a lot, and with her diagnosis of inoperable cancer, she has recognized the possibility of requesting prayer (from those of us who are already offering intercessory prayer for her) to obtain a favor of healing for her through the intercession of Cardinal Archbishop Ferrari (and thus promoting his cause for sainthood).

Anyone knows if there is a specific way of asking for this type of prayer or any one know of any specific protocols? It seems there is not much information about the first miracle. Any possibilities for some info.

So far as I know, you simply ask the Blessed to pray for you.

If she doesn’t already have a holy card of his, a quick internet search would show you where to request prayer cards and possibly even a relic of the Blessed. This would also expand the circle of people asking for Blessed Andrea’s intercession for her healing 👍

Pray exactly as she would with a saint. Others have given good tips here.
