How to Pray for GRANDCHILDREN?

I have been praying for two months for my grand daughter who lives 250 miles away. I have lit candles twice in the Church. I have prayed at night and during the day. I have asked Our Lady to ask Jesus for a special favor. I have asked St. Ignatias of Loyola to pray for her. I have asked the Holy Spirit to carry these prayers to heaven.

The Holy Spirit has been a friend for about 16 years. So the day my grand daughter was to be under extreme stress I prayed several time to the Holy Spirit to be with her.

But it seems that the Holy Spirit didnt help her. 911 had to be called.

My question is are there any of you who pray for special favors? HOW DO YOU PRAY FOR A CERTAIN FAVOR. My prayers were that my grand daughter would be granted the ability to do that which she was capable. It didn’t happen . HOW DO YOU PRAY?

Hello, 22 years ago my brother ws given very little chance of surviving his cancer.
So started a novena to Saint Martha, a lighted candle every Tuesday for 9 Tuesdays, and the prayer to Saint Martha, and my brother is still alive and well.
His biggest fear, was losing his hair in the therapy but he never lost a grain.
Thanks you Saint Martha for interceding to Jesus to me.

It’s tough without knowing the specifics of the situation. Did help get there in time after 911 was called? Maybe that was an answer to your prayer. Maybe your prayer will be answered, just not in the way that you want it to be right now. For me, my prayers are answered every time, sometimes how I want, sometimes not. When they are answered in a way that at the time seems contrary to what I prayed for, after time has passed I can always look back and thank God that He knew better than me what needed to be done.
