How to pray the rosary?

When praying the rosary, do you pay attention to what you say( the Hail Mary’s and Our Father’s) or do you concentrate on the 5 mysteries? I tend to move from one to the other so I would just like to ask how to pray the rosary properly…

I don’t know if this is the right subforum to post this :o
 
What I do is as I say the words I use them to focus on our Lord and the mystery I am contemplating. The rythm helps me to focus on them. Not sure if this helps…🤷
