Thanks, guys. I was hoping that there was something akin to a modern, national database of old records of this sort of thing. But, now knowing that a conditional baptism isn’t frowned upon (an otherwise friendly, old lady in my parish seemed pretty off put by the notion), I’ll inquire about it now.
