How to prove that God does exist?

I have heard of someone on here who was an atheist and became catholic because of St Thomas’ 5 proofs. When understood correctly about what God is, they are infallible.
 
Paying the boarding fees for my son so I dont have to keep him at home, paying alimony…these universally demonstrate love and care?

Nor is subsequent maintaining of existence really making.

You are assuming a deist view of creation not a theistic one – certainly not a Thomistic one. God sustains creation in being at each moment, he didn’t create once and let things unfold. He is the Subsistent Act of Being Itself that sustains creation in being now.

God does not merely pay the boarding fees nor the alimony for someone else to do the maintaining.
 
Maintenance/sustenance of mere existence is not making - nor is it necessarily caring as many single parent children with an absent father experience every day.
