How to renew our minds daily/meditation

scripture tells us we must renew our minds daily what exactly did paul mean and how to do it? Also another thing that got me thinking is Christian meditation. Meditation often brings up images of eastern practices but the bible uses the word to meditate that we must meditate. So what exactly is meditation according to the bible
 
If you’re looking for good meditation resources I’d look at St. Teresa of Avila and St. Ignatius of Loyola. Also learning lectio divina is fairly simple and there are some good resources out there for that as well. For a daily “renewal”, I don’t think anything beats the Jesuit Examen, but that’s my opinion only.
