If it were me, I would simply give a few sentences about how I love my Church and it helps me draw closer to Jesus Christ whom I love very much. I would say how much I look foward to mass because it’s there that I receive Jesus in the Eucharist. I would talk about how my Church was the original Church that Jesus Christ established when He said upon this rock I build my Church. And finally, I would tell her that I have peace knowing that I am a child of God and He loves me, and my hope is spending eternity with Him.yellowbird -
You are correct - we live in a neighborhood that does not allow solicitors.
This sounds great. Any ideas what I should include in my correspondence?
thanks!
^ All of that will sound so odd to the JW - but you never know what sort of seeds you’re planting. When I was a JW, trying to prove me wrong with bible verses never worked. I was trained to know exactly how to respond. But when someone shared their faith, and what it meant to them - and they sounded confident - THAT was hard for me to argue. It wouldn’t make sense to me because as JWs - we believed we were Jehoavh God’s people. His only people. I was always dumbfounded by a non-JWs relationship with Jesus. It made me pause and think… what’s up with that?
