How to respond when brother makes rude statements about Church?

I always think of a good response hours later when receiving rude comments. First I am in shock.Anyway, he is church shopping and said he didn’t want to deal with all the Catholic mumbo jumbo. Any advice welcome.
 
You might try quoting St. Augustine:
If you believe what you like in the Gospel, and reject what you don’t like, it is not the Gospel you believe, but yourself.
