*Hi everyone 👋

Just a little update…we had our dinner party last night. Well, did NOT end up cooking, AT ALL. My dh really balked at the Italian menu idea…have no clue why. He didn’t even want to do the seafood thing…ha. I said, well, what are we gonna do then?

I have to admit, I was disappointed, and he said…if I really wanted to make it, he was sure it would be delicious, he just was a little ‘tired’ of all the Italian food we had been eating, but our guests might not be. 😃 It was not worth arguing over, I just asked him to come up with something QUICK, as our guests were going to be arriving in a few hours!

He said how about we order something from this rib place that we love, with sides, etc? I wasn’t sure, but we did it…and wow, it really worked out, a real crowd pleaser. Basically, we bought pulled pork, bbq chicken, and lots of sides, and one of my SIL’s brought a salad.

I guess we could say submitting even in the little things, can turn out for the best.🙂 But, your menu ideas will be forever saved in my memory bank. Thank you for these ideas, and I might have to just make them for my family and me. Who needs guests to whip up a special meal, right? :)*

Oh MEN! 😛
LOL… ah well… I’m so glad it worked out so well - and you got out of stressing about cooking too!.. nice bonus! 😃

Glad it went well!!! 🙂

Wow, that sounds delicious. I was just thinking how I’d have to be air conditioned within an inch of my life to eat all that heavy Italian food in hot, sunny Florida. But maybe y’all are just used to it.

Glad your party turned out well!
