I recently noticed in a garden the same Hope statue that you are wanting to visit in your area. It’s in a setting for an order of priests. Jesus tenderly holding the little baby and the mother sitting next to him is beautiful.
I thought about you the minute I saw it. I noticed the hand of Jesus on the statue was well rubbed. A lady who comes to the center a lot, told me that she sits next to the statue, lays her hand on the hand of Jesus, and then rests her head on her hand.
Maybe it will give you peace that even in other cities people have found comfort sitting with this beautiful statue of Jesus.
People who pass you while you sit there will see exactly what they see if they pass the lady I spoke to… a person resting in prayer with Jesus. Do not fear that anyone will think you have come because of your huge loss.
I hope you can visit the statue soon. Maybe a visit this week would be very healing as Grace’s feast day approaches. I know from heaven she offers her prayers that you are healed. She is a beautiful child of God, who like all children loves her mother dearly. She understands your love for her. She loves you as well.
