How wealthy is the Catholic Church really?

:eek: :eek: Isn’t it just a bit disingenous to say that the present Vatican budget, which shows an outlay greater than income, accurately represents the wealth of the Vatican? The Vatican contains very precious art and treasures! It upsets me that you would hide behind “operating expenses” to answer the heretics’ accusations that the Vatican is hugely wealthy! I want honesty in my Church (should I decide to join).
