I am sorry, but stating that there is no interest in the TLM in Argentina is INCORRECT.

As a matter of fact, there is a strong community of people attending the SSPX, precisely
because that is ALL they have. :bighanky:
The FSSP or the INSTITUTE were NOT invited into the country…
There is an interest in the TLM in many places, but, what can they do, if they
are not invited.
For example, I noticed that the FSSP has an apostalate
in Colombia, South America in a town FAR FAR AWAY from the main city,
the capital where there are people attending the SSPX. Why was the FSSP
not invited into the same area where the SSPX is flourishing. And you can see
the same in different countries. Obviously, Cardinal Bergoglio has nothing to do with Colombia,
or other South American countries but, I am just giving an
example of what it looks like in South America. Since I
looked at the FSSP locations in South America, that is what I noticed…
Costa Rica also has a lot of people going to the SSPX, if I am not mistaken,
why is the FSSP or the Institute not there?? They only go where they are invited…
And when the approved TLM (by Cardinal Bergoglio) was started in BA,
a side altar, the Priest doing it, was not INTO tradition, and basically
mixed a lot of both Masses together,
the EF & OF. The people were saddened by what they saw…
So, even though about 100 people started attending, when they saw
WHAT they got instead, the numbers dropped, and the people
went back to the SSPX
The above is what I have gathered from reading different sources & speaking
with people from Argentina, as well as a friend of mine who is a Seminarian
at the moment.
It is my humble opinion.
May our Lord Bless Pope Francis on the difficult job
he has ahead. I pray that he does support the TLM around the world.

We must remember that supporting it does not mean that he can manufacture priests to celebrate it. One important point that must be made about the FSSP is numbers. It’s not always that an institute is not invited. In the case of South America, there are many places that are in need of missionaries. If there is a remote place where diocesan priests won’t go and the FSSP will, then the bishops are going to take them up on it.

Maybe not so remote but there are places where parishes have been on the verge of closing or have closed, only to be resurrected by the TLM. (Rockford and Chicago ICRSS, SJC, etc.)

We should really rejoice when we hear of things like this. It makes no difference whether it’s the OF or the EF. But if an institute can rescue a community’s parish, we have to raise a prayer of thanks to God for that institute and pray that he will grant them all the graces needed to continue to serve these people. We should also join these people in their joy. The good of one brother is a blessing to the whole body.
