This Bakshi version you speak of, is that the combination live action-animation movie which stops right in the middle like they ran out of film? (which they probably did)
 
I really thought Bakshi did all three since they were all so bad. The funny thing about Bakshi’s movie is that the actual film of the battle scenes that he used came from the movie El Cid. Moors as orcs? Hmmmm.
