If you’re talking about Brad Pitt et al, that was supposed to be an Irish accent.

Did Brad Pitt actually do a decent Irish accent in the film?

What accent did the fellows in “Trainspotting” have? They were pretty much unintelligible.

It was a little exaggeratted but it wasn’t terrible, not like Leonardo Di Caprio in Gangs of New York, that was painful to listen to 😛 .

Its been so long since I’ve seen Trainspotting I’ve forgotten. Must be a hint to watch it again hehe.
 
the characters in Trainspotting were Scottish.

I can only assume that Brad Pitt’s “Irish” accent in Snatch was deliberately bad. I’ve never heard any Irish person talk like that!

oh and lak611, if you come here, please don’t lose your accent - I’m sure it’s charming. Madonna has been “talking funny” ever since she came here (she’s trying hard to be “gentry”) and we’ve all been secretly laughing at her:D
