How would you sum up Christ's message in 20 words or less to a stranger?

Don’t we love people by their works? ‘I love Mozart’… I’ve never met him but I love his music and by extension him. If we love Creation then don’t we love the Creator also?
 
We do love God partly by loving his works, and being good stewards, so that is a start. But God goes way, way beyond the works we can see and experience with our human senses.

I like to surround myself with people who celebrate life. After all that is what the Creator gifted us.

You of course are entitled to your preferences. Where I come from we have some who have never broken their back and presume to educate Veterans on job opportunities when it is the lack of real paying jobs for them which is the main problem. There is a lot of thought but little wisdom. A lot of brain draining and wallet draining activities. No success for the worthy. So, when I meet the “unworthy” who are worthy they know of little what to say or do. So, when I speak of the quotation mentioned, there are some who see it as justifiability.

If you are so worthy, you forget those called unworthy. If you blame the unworthy who are worthy then you do harm to yourself. If you cannot put these pieces together and see that it was noticed from above in all ways and needed a remedy, you are useless. If you see and know many worthless people on this basis and choose not to hate them, again, that causes self harm, we must agree that something better was made to fix these great wrongs. If you don’t think so, perhaps heaven doesn’t exist to you. If it does (as it should) you should hope we all go there even if our power struggles on Earth say otherwise.

The Lamb of God behaves as unworthy of life and we feed the unworthy who are his flock.

So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
 
Love is the reason we feed the lambs. My investment here is not for the crony organization (Catholic Answers) whatsoever. And they reap what they sow. It is for the lost who may look here. So far, the site dropped a lot of visits which means they are learning (from us).

In Christ, we are transformed from selfish to selfless love of God and neighbor.

What you propose is a start. I guess what I’m trying to say is that there is more to loving God than just appreciating his works, although if you include “your neighbors” in “His works” then I think you have a majority of the bases covered.
 
Love God with all your being, love thy neighbor, and live in righteousness.

God reveals Himself with the male pronoun. Let’s stick with that.
