When I woke up, it was 54 degrees Fahrenheit (about 12 degrees Celsius), I had to wear a coat for the first time in a long time. How is it where y’all are?

well its thecsecond month of Spring. Today it will get to about 16c. Right now its 10c. A bit of rain predictted later in the week.

Happy Spring to all of our Southern Hemisphere friends!! ❤️

Those of us here in the North are just into the beginning of Autumn.

It’s one of my favorite seasons here, with the other being Spring.

I love the change of seasons here, with the color of the leaves changing on the trees. Such a beautiful time of the year, and the weather gets cooler, with cooler temps. for us here in Wisconsin.

Right now it is in the 70’s Fahrenheit.

It’s rather warm for this time of the year, but then we’'ll be in a little warm spell towards 80 before it drops back into the 60’s during the day, and then “blanket weather” at night, where it will be in the 50’s.

I love the cooler temps., as I feel more comfortable when being outdoors. 🙂

I want to try to hit the Blue Ridge to see the leaves change up there.

I kind of want to get some cold rain here. I love it.

Ohhh, definitely my friend. 🙂

There are some very beautiful areas in our country, to see glorious tree color changes at this time of the year.

The Blue Ridge Mts. are one place, and then the Smokey Mountains, and then New England is supposed to be another great place, too. I’d love to get a chance to visit all of these places, if I can.

In my area, the farther north you go the better, up into the farther northern parts of the state to see Fall color for trees. They have peak colors earlier in Sept.

We don’t reach peak color in the southern end of the state until the middle of October usually, although some trees start to change in Sept. 🙂

I love going to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, but there’s always so many people there anymore. Same with the Blue Ridge Parkway or Mount Mitchell.

15 C here, with strong westerly 48km/hour with occassional showers

North Island, are you getting shocking weather too? I know some parts had a heat wave recently and was hoping for calmer weather here. Instead got thunderstorms.

Roll on summer!

it looks like nice 20s for the rest of this week. snakes are out. i am moving!

there are a lot of early bushfires due to that heat wave.

we play you in the netball constellation cup this week i think.

Yes, 5th October in Auckland.

Bush fires will be concerning, are people removing shrubs etc away from their properties?

It’s getting autumn-like. 45 degrees F (7 C). Heat came on last night.

It’s Autumn in New England. The nights have been chilly and I’ve finally turned off the fan in the bedroom window (it’s been on since May - no air conditioning). The days this week are forecast to be in the 60’s (Fahrenheit), nights in the 40’s. Three days ago I wore a jacket in the morning for the first time since May. I’m expecting to have to scrape frost off the car any day now.

Let me explain something here. I hate the heat. Anything over 70 and I’m starting to get uncomfortable. I’m wearing two layers of pajamas right now because the house is cold and I just love it! I don’t like to shovel snow but I do look forward to Fall & Winter because I really dislike the heat of Summer, even Summer in Maine.

people are. we learnt with black saturday a lot.

on days declared Catastrophic fire days, people are expected to leave and go somewhere safer , early in the day. Before fire breaks out.

fires breaking out on Catastrophic fire danger days are expected to be fatal and unstoppable. so people have to leave before any potential fire breaks out.

CFA is warning of a really bad fire season. I pray the Rosary for my local CFA fire brigade. that if they go fight fires this year, they stay safe.

I guess it’s Fall here. I spent part of the weekend raking up leaves, and now my lower back is complaining (again 😠). We don’t get dramatic change of seasons here in SoCal, and I was raking up leaves from two large Magnolia trees - no striking colors with those leaves. Anyway, it is 66 degrees F. here at 3:30 in the morning, with high temps in the mid to upper 70s along the coast. It won’t get chilly here until closer to Halloween.

Autumn in northern France. Gray ☁️ and episodically rainy 🌧️, though we should get the sun ☀️ back tomorrow. A bit of wind. 🌬️ 16°C/61°F.
