the kingdom of God is not a political entity.

But it is a kingdom ruled by a King, who assumed rule through His very nature and through conquest. He sits with his mother, the Queen, who assumed rule through Divine Grace.

Kingdoms, in an earthly sense, can be the best form of government, but also run the risk of being the worst. It all depends on who the king is. When done right, and remember there were earthly kings who are canonized Saints, it is the most efficient form of government. When ruled by an evil king, which are quite numerous and infamous in history, it is the most efficient tool for evil.

Democracy is good since it helps to eliminate the extremes. However, even a good democracy would not be as good as a good monarchy.

As for people who complain about the cost of running a monarchy, I would contend that running a democracy with a large bureaucracy, such as America, is much less cost effective. Modern democracy’s have quite large deficits, to say the least.

As to which, in the end, is the best form… it is irrelevant. It depends on the people, not the political structure.

By form of government I was referring to the method of selecting the leaders, not to the governing ideology. Obviously certain ideologies are in opposition to the Church (fascism (and by that I’m referring to actual fascist ideologies and not ideologies that we’re wrongly proclaimed fascist by Communist propagandists), Communism, and Liberalism).

Of course Islamic Monarchs are not the same as those of Europe as they are not part of the same model wherin they are responsible to God. IMO sultans are not true monarchs.

So why those sultans when they visit other kings & queens in the west a royal reception always prepared for them .

They are heads of state and are treated as apropriate to how they are treated in their home country. I do not nessacarily support a sultanate as I do a Kingdom.

Well there certainly is politics within the Church, but yes, it was stripped of any real political influence externally back in the 19th century.

Not so much for being monarchs, and ruling a nation in civil matters, but by allowing to be conferred on themselves by bogus ministers the position of head of a church, when already one True Church, the only one that is sanctioned and already has a descendent of Peter as it’s head.
