I just came across a youtube video about a human head transplant that will be performed in
2017. youtube.com/watch?v=Nr8ru47Rnjs
They basically remove the head from a disabled persons body and then attach a donor body to is. I just wonder, what would happen to the souls of both people? I mean as soon as they remove his head from his body, the soul will leave him right?

I hope that this is a hoax. The chances of this being successful in a human is near zero.

Whatever happens, it’d be a body transplant. While the recipient’s brain is still functioning correctly and receiving oxygen and whatever nutrients, the soul would be animating that part of him. The mind is tied to the brain (presumably).
The bit about living forever is junk; the (organic) brain eventually deteriorates.
Brings back memory of the 1962 film “The Brain that Wouldn’t Die”.

How many nerves would have to be identified and joined up?!
Got a feeling it’s not a hoax because it was mentioned somewhere a few days ago.

Can’t see him as being better off than a quadriplegic with artificial devices keeping the heart and other organs going. But, he has nothing to lose, so best wishes to him. 🤷

The surgeons have to start somewhere, just like Dr Barnard and his heart transplants…as long as it doesn’t turn into criminal activity.

This is just a teaser for Svenghoolie right?

This has to be fake news. Once they severed the spinal cord, that would be it. Lots of blood pumping to the brain up the jugular. Not a chance this is real.

This is rather disturbing to be honest. If it’s a man’s head on a mans body, or a woman’s head on a woman’s body it would not be so creepy. However, if it was a mans head on a woman’s body, or vice versa it would be extremely disturbing, if not Satanic. That would totally violate God’s rules and create a hideous monster. Not only that, but if deranged countries such as North Korea, China, ISIS, Nazi Germany, etc. are able to do this, they could torture prisoners by putting their head on the opposite sex’s body.

This is extremely evil. The only good way a head transplant would work would be to put a head on a robotic body. That way disease would be impossible, and the person would theoretically have a greatly expanded life.

Why on Earth would somebody even attempt this? This reminds me of a Horror B-Film called “The Brain That Wouldn’t Die”.

This is extremely evil. .
I disagree. Yes, if successful there is potential for abuse. And it is a little unsettling especially if you you ever read Mary Shelly’s novel. But i think it’s s long way from “extremely evil”. The idea is to allow a disabled man an opportunity to live a better life. What’s the difference between replacing 1 organ or replacing 100?

I think “body transplant” is more accurate and less unsettling than "head transplant. It’s 1 person getting a new body. Not a person getting a new head.

But as far as I know, the church has no teaching on this matter yet, so who knows.

Your statements are far-fetched, hysterical, and completely unfounded. To call someone a “hideous monster” is just… Cruel. You can have your views on it, but you took this too far. No one is a hideous monster in the eyes of the Lord, even if their body has been changed. To call it morally wrong is one thing, but you went absolutely overboard and should not be so cruel.
