In my parish, the priest did speak against contraception in last week’s homily. He didn’t actually mention Humane Vitae but it was a strong stand for the truth.

This parish actually did get a detailed homily on Humane Vite and the sound track is posted on their web site.

Interesting - a catholic friend sent me this article today! I’m Protestant, but I support Humanae Vitae. I believe the CC has this right - in fact, stands alone among Church’s of the world in having this right. Prior to reading the encyclical, I assumed, like many I suppose that this was mostly about issues of abortion (which I absolutely oppose) but I came to realize it was/is so much more. Its about relationship, covenant, the fidelity of marraige, societal moral values and about the gift of life and God’s soverignty.

My wife and I have 5 glorious children - clearly blessings of the Lord.
