Some of you might remember the 2011 draft of a new constitution established by the nation of Hungary that includes such statements as:*Human dignity is inviolable. Everyone has the right to life and human dignity; the life of a foetus will be protected from conception. (Freedom and Responsibility, Article II)

(1)Hungary protects the institution of marriage between man and woman, a matrimonial
relationship voluntarily established, as well as the family as the basis for the survival of the nation.
(2) Hungary supports child-bearing.
(3) The protection of families is regulated by a super majority law.
(Basic Stipulations, Article M)*This was to take effect in 2012. I presume this took place and the draft is accurate? Does anyone know? I had trouble finding confirmation, but I presume the draft went final?

I read, somewhere, that it was approved.🙂

Saint Stephen, pray for them.

Poor Hungary; now the country has seen it all. Modern authoritarian homosexuality, Socialism (Atheistic/Secularist, Marxist and militant Islamic) are formidable enemies of any society that strives to order itself according to the teachings of the Church.

I have no doubt that Hungarian Christians, and probably others, are praying for Saint Stephen to intercede with Our Lord to again save their country from Paganism and Socialism.

From Wikipedia-Hungary:
“Saint Stephen I…[was] the first King of Hungary (1000–1038). He greatly expanded Hungarian control over the Carpathian Basin during his lifetime, broadly established Christianity in the region, and is generally regarded as the founder of the Kingdom of Hungary. Pope Gregory VII canonized Stephen together with his son, Saint Emeric of Hungary, and Gerardo Sagredo, on 20 August 1083. Stephen became one of the most popular saints in Hungary, and 20 August, which was also his feast day until 1687, is celebrated as a public holiday in Hungary commemorating the foundation of the state.”
