The SWAT Team has enetered the sanctuary at Immaculate Conception church,This follows officers taking a man in custody who had been inside the priest’s quarters during the incident.

More than a dozen patrol cars and officers have been stationed outside the priest’s quarters at the church, along with a canine unit. Many of the officers were staged behind their vehicles as though they were taking cover, but there was no official word by 10:45 p.m. on whether the man was armed with a gun.
I have word that there are 2 priests and a monsignor inside!

O Jesus, eternal Priest, keep your priests within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart, where none may touch them. Keep unstained their anointed hands, which daily touch Your Sacred Body. Keep unsullied their lips, daily purpled with your Precious Blood. Keep pure and unearthly their hearts, sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood. Let Your holy love surround them and shield them from the world’s contagion. Bless their labors with abundant fruit and may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here and in heaven their beautiful and everlasting crown. Amen.

Mother Mary please intercede in this so grave a situation, pray for us dear Mary that the priests and monsignor will be safe in Gods hands.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thank you Lord my God :signofcross:

According to police, one of the priests called 911 to report that a man had broken into the facility and started destroying several objects. A short while later, officers received a call from another priest that the suspect was armed with a handgun, and was holed up with the first priest.

When officers arrived on scene, they found one of the priests and another church member outside. The suspect stayed in the priest’s quarters with the second priest for nearly and hour and a half as more than a dozen patrol cars and officers were stationed outside. He eventually surrendered and was taken into police
I am still so stunned and shaken I dont know what to say but Thank you Lord!

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen***

Blessed are You, Lord God.
Blessed are You for ever.
Holy is Your name.
Blessed are You for ever.
Great is Your Mercy for Your people.
Blessed are You for ever.
Amen!

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
We praise You and give You glory.
We bless You for calling us
To be Your holy people.
Remain in our hearts
And guide us in our love and service.
Help us to let our light shine before others
And lead them to the way of faith.
Holy Trinity of Love,
We praise You now and for ever.
Amen!

We praise You, Father of all.
We thank You for calling us
To be Your people
And for choosing us to give You glory.
In a special way I thank You for…
The safety of all concerned in the incident at Immaculate Conception

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

I am truly sorry for this situation, and I fervently join my prayers with your intentions for the sake of those priests, as well as for whoever is trying to harm them and for the police involved, that they all may be protected from all sin, all evil, and all injustice, and that they all may be forgiven their sins. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, those priests’ and those criminals’ guardian angels, and Melchizedek, in whose order of priests Christ Himself acted. God bless.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou
O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God
Thrust into Hell, Satan and all the evil spirits
Who prowl about the world, seeking the ruin of souls
Amen.

It’s ok now, he’s in custody and the police got the second priest out before he met the gunman so nobody was in danger. The SWAT team did not have to enter, apparently, as the man came out on his own.

There has been damage to the church, so they will possibly be in need of funds for repairs and replacing damaged objects…

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Lord God, thank You for keeping Your servant priests safe. I pray that You bless the perpetrator of this crime so that he may be contrite and truly sorry for what he did. I pray that true charity, understanding, mercy and compassion reign as this mater is investigated and resolved. Amen.
