Husband clearly favors youngest child

There are examples of favoritism here.

A way to get through to him may be to talk about the negative effects of the favoritism on the favored child-instead of the other children. I would tell him that developmentally that it time for her to start relying on her own resources and for him to limit involvement with stepping in to the sibling mix for her benefit.

This conversation can include that continuing to do these things for her may instill a false sense of entitlement in the future, it can impact her in dealing with disappointment, becoming independent and so on.

If his treatment of this child is affecting the op to the degree is it, it is a problem whether or not it is blatent all the time, or just perceived. There is a disconnect and they need to come to solution together.

Right. And being homeschooled magnifies the potential effects.
