While I agree that you should not feed your scrupulosity, this idea that you don’t need to confess venial sin is against Church teaching. It may not be urgent, but you do need to confess it as soon as you are able. As far as I know, if you aware that you have committed venial sin, but are truly repentant, you can still take Eucharist if immediate Confession is not possible. It’s mortal sin that bars one from Eucharist, and this one does not rise to that level!I would not bother a priest. At the very most it is a very minor venial sin. It would probably not help your scrupulosity to dwell on this.
So, in short, yes. Aiding someone in theft of this type is definitely a venial sin.
