Not sure about soliciting prayer, but my best friend has lost her way. She turned from her faith and went through a civil divorce. Brought up full blown Catholic, Catholic elementay allthe way through High School and even Jasuit College. I am near dispair for [name removed], I do not want to hide anything she is my wife. She has accepted the request of a non Catholic man, who I am fairly sure she met before she “sought her rights”, to marry him. My request is for her to hear the call from the tabernacle, reconsile with the church, and Celebrate the Sacrament of Eucharist.

Sincerest appreciation.

Praying from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Shed your clear light on our hearts, Lord,
so that walking continually in the way of your commandments
we may never be deceived or misled.
[We make our prayer] through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray ofr us sinners
now and at the hour of or death. Amen.

Praying for your intentions….

Lord Jesus, You have said,
“Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.”
With confidence in Your loving heart
which offers rest to weary souls,
we come to You in this time of special need.
In Your unfailing love,
read the prayer that is written on our hearts,
and grant the grace that we ask of You,
in accordance with Your holy will.
In Your name we pray.
Amen.

Thank you for all your prayers and my appalogies for including a name. I pray often about this matter. My heart has not yet been set at ease about this matter.
Thank you all again.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions
Blessed be God our Father, who protects his children and does not spurn their prayers. Let us all humbly pray to him:
– Lord, give us light to see by.

We thank you, Lord, for sending us your only Son to enlighten us:
may his light fill us all day long.
– Lord, give us light to see by.

Lord, send your wisdom to lead us through the day:
let us walk in the purity of a new life.
– Lord, give us light to see by.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
