Husband just lost job

Please pray CAF prayer warriors. My husband whose job was previously in jeopardy because of an abusive boss (previous thread/request about this) has now been fired. On one hand, it’s a relief that he’s out of such a horrible situation. On the other, we can’t afford to have him out of work. Plus, I’m just so sad and angry at the unfairness of it all.

Prayer to St. Anthony for Employment

Blessed St. Anthony, who in life was ever mindful of the needs
of the afflicted, consuming yourself in the service of God and for
the good of souls, who was the enemy of idleness and a tireless
worker in the vineyard of the Lord. Please beseech God to grant
Sunflower98’s husband me a suitable job, as soon as possible.
May this job procure for Sunflower’s husband and his family
a decent livelihood. We ask this through Christ Our Lord, for whom
nothing is impossible. Amen. ✝️

My heart is so broken tonight. We both prayed so hard that DH could find a new position before this happened. He fasted and spent time in daily Adoration pleading with the Lord. I’m crushed for him and my faith is a bit shaken. I can’t believe the Lord would lead us this far into the wilderness for nothing…but I’m hurting and struggling to see how we move ahead.
 
Asking the Holy Spirit to grant wisdom and guidance to DH as he seeks new employment. St. Joseph, please aid us in our temporal and financial needs. May we today, the day Jesus prepared to die, gratefully unite our suffering to His. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.
