I am currently employed at a Subway restaurant, where I am basically just making and saving money for college.

Tonight I found out that the husband of one of my coworkers has recently been told that he has stage 4 cancer. I am not sure what kind of cancer. I had known that he was undergoing chemo, but she told me that the doctors said that chemo will no longer help. Her husband does not think he has too much time left. They have three kids in school yet (a senior graduating this year, one grade school age, and a toddler), as well as one, maybe two, who are out of school.

I do not think that my coworker or her family is Catholic, but nevertheless, she is a wonderful person, and I would just ask that you pray for her and her family as they go through this. Ask that the Lord stays close to their hearts during this time.

Lord Jesus, please bless this person with your healing presence. If You so Will it, Lord God, allow this person to live and happy and healthy remainder of their lives, and be healed of their affliction. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen.

Dear Lord, we join with Sarah in her prayer for her co-worker and his family.
This sad news has tremendous consequences for his wife and children. Please be merciful to them now and in the future.
Please give comfort and courage, and many graces to this man and his family in this painfu time, Lord.

I am so sorry for this family. What devastating news. I pray that he be fully healed according to the will of God and that iif it is not in God’s plan for him to be cured, that his wife and children may received the grace and peace of Jesus to face the challenges ahead. In the name of Jesus, I pray for this young man’s restoration of health. Amen
