God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal this husband. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. Despite what the doctors say if this be Your Will I ask you to send forth your healing power into this husband’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

I now ask God to heal these sick persons whom I entrust to you:

Thank you with all my heart for your fervent and loving prayers that continue to sustain us!

Rodney went to the hospital today and saw the oncologist. His PSA has risen to 16.7 (the goal has always been for it to be undetectable). The oncologist thinks the spot on his bone is cancer, but Rodney told her that when he saw her four months ago she couldn’t be sure what it was and she agreed so they are going to do another bone scan between now and his next appointment in two months. They gave him another Lupron injection. They are discontinuing the Casodex and starting DES which is an estrogen. The DES has a risk of cardiovascular toxicity, blood clots, heart attack, stroke and deep vein thrombosis. Therefore the oncologist has also ordered Coumadin. I am very concerned about the DES and Coumadin.

Rodney goes back to the hospital next Wednesday to complete the application paperwork for Provenge. provenge.com/how-provenge-works.aspx As I mentioned before, this therapy is nearly $200,000. So the hospital is going to help us look for financial assistance.

That same sickeningly fear of losing Rod started to roll over me today. I told Rod that I’d rather be the one to die.

Dear Therese and Rodney.I am sorry the news today was not what you were expecting.I pray God will continue to guide your doctors and give Rodney the best possible treatment.The new treatment has its risks but sure it is necessary.I am so sorry you have the added worry of having to pay $200,000 for treatment,I pray the hospital can help to get assistance.We are very lucky and blessed to have the NHS in the UK that all treatment is free and covered by our national insurance paid in our working life which covers us all our lives.
I cannot imagine the added pressure of financial concerns on top.((HUGS)) for you Therese.You have both shown much courage and faith.May Our Lord comfort you both and guide those doctors to have the skills and knowledge necessary to treat Rodney in the best possible way.I continue to pray for a miracle.Love to you both xxx

Lord thankyou for hearing our prayers for Rodney and Therese.We continue to pray that Rodney will be completely healed and ask You would grant a miracle to Rodney and heal him of his cancer.Please comfort both Rodney and Therese at this exceptionally worrying time for them.May they feel Your presence in their lives and feel reassured of Your love for each of them.Lord please grant healing to Rodney guide his medical staff to have the knowledge necessary and skills required to heal him.Guide their hands when they perform medical tasks that they are able to treat him according to Your will.Lord we pray . Prayer for a Miracle
God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal this husband. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. Despite what the doctors say if this be Your Will I ask you to send forth your healing power into this husband’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

St. Jude, the glorious apostle faithful servant and friend of Jesus,
the patron of hopeless cases of things despaired of,
pray for this husband who is sick and so miserable.
Make use we implore you of this particular privilege accorded to you,
to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of.
Come to our assistance in this great time of need,
that he may receive the consolations and succor of Heaven
in all his necessities, tribulations and sufferings,
particularly to help our friend to get better from his illness
and to give him good health
and to guide his path,

Therese , my very dear friend , both Rodney and you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers and I am continuing to pray for Rodney , that God will grant him a miraculous and complete healing . I pray also that the new medication will prove completely effective in eliminating the cancer from Rod’s body , without him experiencing any terrible side effects . God bless you both . xxx
