I am seriously considering leaving my alcoholic husband who is in total denial about his drinking problem and the effect it has on our family.

I ask your prayers for my husband to have an epiphany and a radical transformation in the next few weeks. If that cannot be, I pray for the courage and strength to do what must be done for the well being of my son and myself
 
May your husband come to his senses…

Dear Jesus, you know what a difficult situation this is. Please bless and help and guide the OP to make the right decisions for the good of her family and especially for her child. Please protect her and her child from all physical and mental harm. Please also help the OP’s husband to get help and overcome this disease that is threatening to destroy his marriage and family. May the Holy Spirit descend on this family and bring them healing and peace. In Jesus’ Name I humbly pray. Amen.

Most holy Apostle, Saint Jude Thaddeus, friend of Jesus, I place the OP and her son and her husband in your care at this difficult time. Help them, especially the OP, know that they need not face troubles alone. Please join the OP in asking God to send her consolation in her sorrow, courage in her fear, and healing in the midst of her suffering, and healing for her husband and marriage as well. Ask our loving Lord to fill her with the grace to accept whatever may lie ahead for her and her loved ones, and to strengthen her faith in God’s healing powers. Thank you, Saint Jude Thaddeus, for the promise of hope you hold out to all who believe, and inspire the OP to give this gift of hope to others as it has been given to her.
