If she was given for adoption I assume the biological parents don’t know her name.
I can only imagine that they gave her away due to an unwanted pregnancy as soon as she was born.

She was given up around 3 months. My husband named her; she still has he name. He and his girlfriend (not bio mom) raised her. He realized he was too young and immature to give her a decent home. He struggled with his and doesn’t feel he did the right thing. I believe completely he did.

Now she and my daughter know one another and run in same circles, but go to different high schools. My daughter and I have to pretend we don’t know about her.

No contact with her yet. I think he’s afraid of rejection. I think he should contact her parents and see what they think. She’s told her friends that she doesn’t think he knows she exists and she is very, very sad because she wants to know him. She lives a few miles from us. She and my daughter have mutual friends and have met. My daughter and I have to pretend to not know anything.
